I want to add value every day. At the Recruiter, I can do that by finding the right personnel for companies and organisations in my own way. My focus is on IT, both fixed and interim. I always go further than just matching based on a job description. I also look at the person, the story behind the person, the corporate culture and the long-term strategy. I make conscious use of my left and right brain: I analyse and work in a structured way, but I also have a feeling for alignment and "energy" – the things you cannot measure, but which are very important. The feeling that a candidate gets from a company he or she would like to work for and describes as 'it just feels good'. I am reliable, I strive for high quality and I act quickly. Don't beat around the bush, but work together openly and honestly! That means clients and candidates always know, Roelof understands what I am looking for. They can always rely on my extensive experience and network within IT. It's all about the win-win-win: the candidate's happy, the customer's happy and I'm happy, too.

I really like the fact that I am truly free to work the way I like. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and authentic. At the Recruiter, you can be an individual and at the same time be part of a team. I don't have to fit myself into a corporate culture. It is inspiring to be able to go into so many companies and get so much information about the latest developments in IT. I'm also inspired by the fact that every day, I talk to many different people, each with their own story, needs and dreams. When I am not at work, I'm focused on my own personal development – overcoming new challenges, becoming more aware of who I am and how I want to shape my life. Every time I manage to do that, I grown a bit more. My dream is to inspire as many people as possible to live more consciously.
