Functie omschrijving Account Manager

For the expansion of our Commercial team and to cover some maternity leaves we are looking for an experienced service minded Account Manager to join us on the 1st of March 2019. You are responsible for the execution of our campaigns and managing our key retail accounts, in multiple countries.

You will act as the connection between our teams in the Netherlands (Design, Sourcing & Production) and regularly liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions in accordance to the customer’s needs. You are accountable for successfully managing a trusted relationship with the client and all internal and external stakeholders.

  • To liaise between key retail accounts and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to the customers needs
  • Successfully manage a trusted relationship with the client and all internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate clearly the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Representing the client's and organization’s interests by operating as lead point of contact
  • New business development
  • Managing complaints
  • Reporting to the management as and when required

Functie eisen Account Manager

You are able to work under pressure using your excellent influencing, organizational and communication skills. You have a strong commercial and business mind-set and can work independently with minimal guidance. Your drive and will to win make you able to deliver clientfocused solutions based on customer needs. You are always in the driver seat and keen to make it happen.

Essential

  • You have obtained a Bachelor or Master’s degree
  • You have at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in Retail Account Management or Trade Marketing or similar (e.g. Agency Account Management)
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Experience in supervising a team
  • Excellent communication skills, you know how and in which way to communicate to different types of stakeholders
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written and preferably fluent in German, French or Spanish
  • A great drive and a great will to win
  • Initiator ('driver seat' and 'make it happen' mentality)
  • A problem-solving way of thinking
  • Teamplayer
  • Willing to travel on a frequent base
  • Excited about toys, games and kids

Desirable

  • Technical background: familiar with product development and production processes
  • Competence to work in an international environment
